Humans are one of the creatures that exist on earth or this vast universe and have an advantage over other creatures. Reflecting and contemplating is something that can only be done by humans which is a characteristic that distinguishes humans from other creatures. Contemplating is thinking about something, while contemplating is the process of contemplating to see the world as a world full of possibilities. Contemplation that is done by humans who have reason can produce diverse imaginations from every human being. Imagination means creativity, the ability to form a new world in the form of fictitious ideas that will one day become real. Humans do not have instincts like animals that do their will directly without thinking about the consequences of their actions. The human world is wide and open. Broad and open means that human activities are not only about eating, drinking, sleeping and hunting, but more than that it is natural for humans to live to continue to think in order to always live as human beings who have reason.
Thinking is a representational or symbolic process. When we imagine something or try to solve a problem, we are called thinking. Thinking will bring up projections about perceptions in a personal sense, a combination of mental frameworks, visualization of objects, symbols and concepts which are all activities that use ideas. Thinking is a process of new mental representations formed through the transformation of information with a complex interaction of mental attributes such as judgment, abstraction, logic, imagination and problem solving. As per the title ^humans think to write literature^ then this human has great potential which makes him a special creature from other creatures, because humans are equipped with the intellect to think, from thinking generate ideas or ideas that can later become literature. We cannot call this process of thinking and generating ideas literary, but a natural thought process as a human being. To reach the level of literature, several activities are needed to support it. We must have heard of a saying that ^Elephants die leaving their tusks^, ^Tigers die leaving their skin^, while humans die leaving their creations. ^Humans die leaving works^ This proverb is very suitable for humans who are naturally created to think, because when a human dies, he will be forgotten by the world, he will sink to the bottom of the deepest ocean, for that we as humans must leave a work, related With this literature, if humans want to be remembered, they have to write literature to express their ideas so that they are not forgotten, these ideas are written in the form of writings that can become books that later other humans can enjoy these works. Literature also has a positive impact that can increase interest in reading and writing in Indonesian children who are categorized as lacking in reading let alone writing. Therefore, we must make use of human thinking activities for literature which we can turn into books to show our existence as thinkers and later it will also have a positive impact on reading and writing, especially for children who will become the caretakers of the nation, we can set an example. developed countries that have a high reading rate for their nation's children so that their knowledge also increases with reading and later what we can call a literacy culture can improve the quality of education in that country. Literacy culture also needs to be intensified within the scope of the school, especially for educators for subjects.
Literacy culture in schools is closely related to students and teachers as subjects and objects of education. Furthermore, increasing literacy culture also has different ways depending on the object/perpetrator. Students and teachers have different difficulties and it greatly affects the way it is implemented. Students tend to be more difficult than adults in this case teachers, students still have a dimension of rationality where what they do is just for now and does not go into the future, so that in life what they do is always playing and playing, some of them have good motivation to read, can be environmental and family factors that make them much better for literacy than other children.
